Hi There,
Just realised that it's now been 2 years since we, (Simon, Ann and I), pressed the button that launched the PBPeople website so have been reflecting on how far we've come in terms of promoting PBs and supporting people of all 'ages and stages' to engage with and use the process. I want to say a big 'Thank You' to all the people who contribute to the forum and also to the hundreds of people viewing posts and using this information to inform their practice. I felt so happy today to celebrate our birthday by visiting 3 schools in Northamptonshire, (2 primary and 1 Secondary), who have PB Specialist Practitioners working with children to build resilience, self-esteem, personal safety skills and independence which in turn is raising attainment and helping children and young people take responsibility for keeping themselves safer. Know that Ann has been celebrating too today - just received a copy of Warwickshire's 1st issue of 'Let's Talk' - a PB magazine for parents and carers produced by Ann - I think it's fab and want to find a way to circulate it across counties. Also think Simon will be feeling chuffed as just had training confirmed that involves revisiting Ireland to continue the PB journey with a group that feels very special to him. And I will be joining him in August to co-train. What a day :woohoo:
