Thanks Ann for the link to the old SEAL cards - really useful.
Also, great to have some more links from everyone, all very interesting, I think.

Wanting to come up with another idea, I thought about an activity based on a linear/continuum model. I quite like the idea of having two feelings either end of a line and discussing what is in between. For example, to have "Feeling slightly fed up" at one end and "Feeling utterly enraged" at the other and then seeing how many feelings the group can come up with in between and the subjectivity which emerges as the group perhaps discuss the order in which the other feelings can appear on the line?

May even try this with upper Key Stage 2 when I get the chance.

I'd be really interested to hear how that goes Judith and thanks also for sharing your copy of 'The Many Moods of Darth Vader - feeling sure there's got to be some mileage in using this:
