Dr Sunderland is Director of The Centre for Child Mental Health. She is an award winning author including internationally acclaimed The Science of Parenting.
The Workshop
Provides an understanding of the impact of trauma and loss on children, young people and adults. Dr Sunderland will address the effects of developmental trauma, what happens to the brain and how to heal the child's traumatised mind. She will also explore the science and psychology of traumatic symptoms: dissociation, agitation, and re-victimisation.

Anyone working with children including Teachers, Social Workers, Counsellors, Play Therapists, Foster Carers and Adoptive Parents, Learning Mentors, SENCos, Educational Psychologists, Therapists, Family Workers, Behaviour Support Workers, Early Years, Nursery Workers, School-Home Support, Care Workers.
