Hi All,
I was speaking with Sandra Brown, PB trainer/actress/author and founder of The Moira Anderson Foundation earlier in the week and Sandra shared with me the amazing adventure that Matthew McVarish is about to embark on. Matthew is planning to walk 10,000 miles over 21 months to raise awareness of child sexual abuse and 'Stop the Silence. I am so glad that I managed to catch up with Sandra and then thought that the PBPeople forum could be a great place to share with others. If you would like to find out more please check out roadtochange.eu/
Good Luck Matthew and thank you so much x

Hi again,
I've had an update from Sandra regarding Matthew's amazing walk and details about two special screenings of the film based on his play "To Kill A Kelpie" which are to be held on the Wed and Thurs evenings - that's 29 and 30 May- prior to his walk.
Sandra said: 'As someone who saw his writing at the earliest stages and then the play, I am very pleased to recommend the film version of the story which promotes every bit as much discussion as the stage drama'.

Both screenings are at Bankside Community Centre in London, with exact address details on the poster below.

Matt is leaving from the National Theatre on London's Southbank on the morning of Friday 31 May on the first stage of his mammoth walk of 10000 miles to raise awareness of the issues around CSA and to campaign for change hence the Project's title : The Road to Change. Please let friends and survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse who wish to support his send off know that we meet in the foyer of the theatre 9.45 a.m. and after some brief words of good speed and many hugs, we expect him to be off walking the route before 10.30!
