Brain Development was created by Sally Ann Hart
While at the PBPeople trainer meeting in Brighton yesterday, some research about changes in the brain struture of people who had experienced abuse was mentioned. Di wasn't able to join us this time round although, rather spookily, I had an email from Di this morning containing the following link:
www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/06/130601133735.htm
Thanks for this Di - what a reminder that the need to find ways to stop abuse as early as possible continues.

Some very strong, empirical evidence, scientifically explored and researched, illustrating the impact that child abuse has on brain chemistry composition subsequently in later adulthood.

Yes, another clear reminder echoing the need to continue striving to eliminate such abuse, injustice and violation against children.

Thanks so much for sharing this article, Sally Ann. Some of the other links to related archived articles on the same webpage may be of relevance to others as well?...
