Protective Behaviours South Africa was created by Hayley Walker
Hi all,
I am so excited to find this forum as we have just begun the journey of implementing Protective Behaviours in South Africa and are in process of networking people from across disciplines and across our vast country in working together to get PB implemented in our schools.
We have done the training with Protective Behaviours Western Australia trainers and are already seeing wonderful results where we are working in some of our local pre-schools and primary schools.
I am looking forward to learning from people who are a bit further down the road than we are.
Thank you for the opportunity to grow and learn and network across the world.
Hayley

Hi Hayley,
Feeling excited too to hear from you and that you found our site. I still think it's amazing how technology can help people network safely. We will be adding some more resources to the Training Room over the next week or so and also asking people to say what they think PBs is and does in less than 100 words!
Looking forward to hearing how it works for you too.
Very best wishes,
Sally Ann

Hi Hayley,
How great to hear from you from SA...the wonders of making the world a smaller place through technology. Welcome to our forum
I run a Protective Behaviours school programme across Warwickshire (a county in the south midlands). I'd love to tell you all about it. Can you email me if you are interested in what we do and I can send you details of how I work and a copy of the independent evaluation completed for the Safeguarding Children Board a few years ago. There are over 175 primary and special schools involved and it is based on a whole school training approach. I have written a differentiated curriculum for teachers to deliver to children aged 4-11 and also support PB work in some secondary schools and early years settings. There is also a range of children and parent resources to support the messages and learning.
