HI All,
have just come across One World Festival and am wondering if anyone knows of it or has ever attended? I am also wondering if it might be an opportunity to do some PBs delivery?
The website describes the festival as "a truly magical mid-summer event. Individuals and families come together from all over the world to share one or two weeks in a unique atmosphere of rest and activity, fun and freedom, challenge and adventure.
The One World Festival presents over 200 workshops and lectures throughout the week, with separate activity programmes for teens and children of all age groups. All our teachers are dedicated and experienced in a range of therapies, natural movement and dance forms, exercise for physical and spiritual development, holistic health, arts, crafts and sports, as well as in specialist areas such as Natural Cookery."
I have just spoken to someone from the office and the set-up seems to be if you deliver workshops (as volunteer) to either adults or children this gives you discount on festival entry fees; however you would still have to pay food and accommodation costs (various options here). Adult workshops are 90 minutes long and you can do one a day. Childrens' are either morning or an afternoon and are "activity based".
This year it is running from 12-18th August at a farm somewhere near Tewksbury, in Gloucestershire. Unfortunately I won't be able to go as I am co-delivering a programme in Liverpool through the summer. They are about to start their planning process so still time to apply for anyone interested. For further info see oneworldcamp.com/ .
Look forward to hearing if anyone has any experience of it

Many thanks Lucy for highlighting this opportunity to share PBs - will take a closer look although there's a good chance I will be in County Mayo with Simon Sneath co-facilitating a 4 day Specialist Practitioner: Process into Practice course - great that there are so many ways to share PBs and so much PB-ing going on
