Naughty or Nice

Oh no!!! I think this is probably one of the worst examples of 'labelling' I've seen in ages!

A sticker company has asked schools which children get the most and the least stickers and has compiled lists of "Naughty" and "Nice" children based on the survey!

Feeling relieved to see that my children's names are not in the top ten on either list. And they all frequently behave in ways that could be described as both 'naughty' and 'nice' depending on the time of day, how they feel, what they've eaten, how their day went.....Hopefully people can start to see children as people who experience a range of feelings every day, and some of their behaviour might be in response to those feelings, and people can stop defining children by their choice of behaviour.

Might write to Santa myself and suggest he make a new list with all the names entitled simply "Children".
.......and another one entitled "Adults" as I do have my eye on a new coffee machine......
