Sorry I'm unable to private message you for another 14 hours or so.
Its great to hear that Hertfordshire has a lot to offer in regard to protective behaviours.
The school will be making a referral for my daughter to have PB on a 1-2-1 basis, what will this entail? What are waiting times like?
If waiting times are long, is it possible to pay for these workshops privately and get them quicker?
I'm really quite lost by this all, and I wasn't given top much information by the teacher that I spoke to yesterday.

There are many opportunities for both you and your child to learn about Protective Behaviours in your area, and several practitioners amongst the school family support workers. it is possible to privately commission from some practitioners, but I feel confident the school will be able organise support fairly quickly. I will pm my contact details too, in case you feel you want any additional support.

Thank you both for your contact numbers, I have them both in my inbox but as I'm such a new member I am still unable to reply to these messages,
Thank you both so much, its really lovely to know I've come to find information for my daughter and you have both offered some assistance.
Ive also been on both of your websites, which has made me feel really quite excited for my daughter to have the opportunity to do protective behaviours.
Thank you so much

Hi!
I have a resource called 'Protective Behaviours for parents' which was published ages ago now so not sure if it is still available. I have a spare copy. If you'd like to message me I can liaise re getting it to you. I could also send the parent guides I provide to all parents in Warwickshire (here we have a scheme where I train staff in primary schools and they teach PBs to the children as part of their safeguarding work and the booklets are to help parents support their children in their learning).
Looking forward to hearing from you if you think I can be helpful.
Best wishes,
Ann
