PBs & Playing Cards was created by Sally Ann Hart
I’ve recently discovered two new packs of playing cards that I think are a great way of ‘doing’ PBs. The first are produced by Q Cards , (they also do a UK version of The Bear Cards), and are called WTF? In this context this stands for What’s the Feeling? Each playing card displays a picture of a different dog displaying a feeling. And as dogs are supposedly ‘a man’s best friend’ the suggestion is that this pack of moody mutts may help men talk about feelings. Don’t know if this is the case, but do know we had a bit of fun using them to play Feeling Charades, as well as the more traditional card game Rummy, whilst on a recent family holiday. More information can be found here .
I took the WTF? cards with me to a recent PB training course and want to thank Jemima for making the link with a pack of cards produced by Romance Academy, www.romanceacademy.org

As well as being a traditional deck of cards, this pack also include questions about relationships and are designed to engage young people in discussing the emotional, physical and social challenges of growing up. Each of the 4 suits has a topic: Values, Choices, Dilemmas, and Sexual Health and the feedback I’ve had is that they work really by providing a one-step removed and therefore safer way for people to talk about things that could feel ‘awful or small’.

Hope you find these helpful and would love to hear what you think if you’ve been able to use them.
