Been meaning to upload this since the beginning of December as some Festive ideas included in this adaptation of the 'Thunks' developed by Sue C during 2 day Protective Behaviours Foundation training for people working in early years.
For those of you new to the idea of Philosophy for Children (P4C), it's a way of encouraging children to freethink and talk so fits beautifully with PBs.
Sue had made this file into keyrings so that they were on hand all the time.
Thanks for sharing Sue - looking forward to hearing some of the responses

Having done the level 1 P4C training myself I want to reiterate what a great model it offers for "structured" listening and speaking. The process is underpinned by four aspects of thinking:
- Caring thinking - being caring of others
- Collaborative thinking - thinking together with others
- Critical thinking - thinking about our thinking (and feelings!)
- Creative thinking - thinking for ourself and looking for connections
Alongside these four aspects of thinking are important principles that underpin the process to ensure everyone has a positive experience. These include:
- Proper valuing of each person's interests and questions
- Acknowledgement that each person's experience/story is unique
- Proper valuing of knowledge, along with recognising that no one is all-knowing
- Appreciation of different ways off interpreting and thinking.
