Hi Di and anyone else trying to work out the easiest way to add the emoticons. I realise now that my last post describing this process perhaps lacked clarity...... So, if you click on the relevant symbol it will appear in the message box in punctuation/code form and then be replaced by the symbol when the post is submitted. This saves having to type in the correct punctuation and is probably more likely to achieve the desired expression of emotion - it's only too easy, in my typing experience, to put a colon in the wrong place!

Hallo everybody: this new website looks great (my favourite colour too) and I'm looking forward to joining in. However, I'm off on holiday tomorrow to Texas to see my son Matt, my daughter-in-law Jess and my youngest grandson Jimmy, who's 16 months old. Jimmy and I have been Skyping quite a bit lately and he knows it's me when I appear on the laptop screen - I wonder whether he'll know it's me when he meets me in the flesh???
I'm back on May 13 and I look forward to chatting to y'all then.
Joc (and there isn't an icon for it, but I'm back-in-MK-and-loving-it)

Have a brill time Joc - hope he knows you, and if not he soon will! It'll be a wrench leaving him when it's time to come home again. Glad you are loving being back down south again. Look forward to further contact when you return.
