Many thanks Maureen - if our paths don't cross before Brighton, could you bring it with you then?

Hi Maureen,
Just been pulling things together for the Safety Net conference and remembered this post so please could you remember to bring the dvd with you. Also just checked the Restorative Justice Council website which has, in my opinion, some really interesting content. There are so many links with Restorative Justice and Protective Behaviours that I'm wondering how we could get some of them formally acknowledged? Also wondering how we could encourage the integration of the Language of Safety model and thereby remove labels such as victim and perpetrator. Really looking forward to the day when individuals are described as people first and their chosen behaviour second because labels tend to stick!

Hear hear, Sally Ann. 'Someone who has chosen/ chose to...' and 'someone who was victimised...'
It will take a generation to change (a bit like the correct naming of body parts!) but if we keep persisting anything can happen
